Travelling to Palais des congres de Paris

The Palais des congres de Paris is located in the heart of Paris and easily accessible from the airport and public transportation. The conference venue is within walking distance from the conference hotels Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile and Le Meridien Etoile. 

Metro

The metro is probably the best way to travel within the city.

Metro Line 1 (La Défense-Château de Vincennes) crosses the city from east to west and provides direct access to the Porte Maillot station, exit 3.

Train

RER Line C commuter train provides direct access to the Neuilly-Porte Maillot station.

Bus

Bus Lines to Porte Maillot: 43, 73, 82, 244, PC1, PC3 

Car/Taxi

Arriving by taxi:

The average fare from Downtown to the Palais des Congrès is 15 €. To depart the Palais des Congres, there is a Taxi station located in the Avenue de la Grande Armée.

Arriving by Plane

Paris has two international airports. Most international flights use the larger Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), 30 km (19 miles) north-east of Paris. The other is Orly Airport (ORY), 18 km (11 miles), south of the city. Most international airlines have direct connections to Paris from their respective hubs. Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly Airport are both well linked by public transport to central Paris.

From Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport:
The RER line B links Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport to Paris Gare du Nord. This is the quickest way to reach central Paris. Departure every 10 – 15 minutes from 05:00 to 24:00
Approximate travel time: 35 minutes

By air France shuttle bus – take line 2 (buses go directly to Porte Maillot / Palais des Congrès or to “Opera” in the city center) Departure every 20 minutes from 06:00 to 22:00
Approximate travel time: 1 hour

From Orly Airport:
A high-speed shuttle train (Orlyval) runs every 4 – 7 min (6 am – 11 pm) to RER B station Antony.
Approximate travel time: 35 mins

By les Cars Air France – take Line 1 to get to the station “Invalides” or “Montparnasse” Departure every 30 minutes from 06:00 to 23:00.
Approximate travel time: 40 minutes to 1 hour.

By Taxi: Approximate travel time to central Paris is 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic.
